… with intent.
Some things really are worth fighting for, and life is too short to be silent. I refuse to be silent any longer while thousands of voices go unheard. We must each take a stand for those who cannot stand up – I hope my poetry does just that!
They can take my pen, I will sign on wind
They can take my paper, I will write on sky
They can take my shoes, I will walk on water
They can take all I own and all I have – I will still have my voice
should they attempt to take that
and steal from me my life – I will be immortal
in the words that I write

Now I have a new attitude on this…poetry is a reflection of me–my life. The only way I can be at peace is to speak reality. Thanks J.D.F
